DESCRIPTION

The project area is located at the meeting point of two main arteries of Canakkale. One of these main roads is pedestrian oriented while the other is car oriented. Properly dealing with this intersection was one of the core focuses of the design concept. In the building layout, sustainable building criteria were considered. Specifically, the building’s orientation is aligned with sustainable criteria in order to reduce energy consumption. Further environmentally friendly considerations in regard to construction techniques, materials used, conformance with climate data, and natural resource use were suggested within the proposal.
